About Us

Hello, my name is Jennifer Bailess and I am the founder of Building Blocks Developmental Therapy. It has been my honor to serve children and their families throughout our community. Having personally experienced the impactful outcomes of early intervention, I am deeply moved by the positive benefits. This firsthand experience reinforced my belief that all children can excel. I have a passion for helping children and together we will work to make a difference.

 

I studied at East Tennessee State University and hold a degree in Early Childhood Development with a Pre-K-3 teaching license. I have served as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher and have extensive experience working in multicultural environments while living abroad. I am certified as an Infant-Toddler Family Specialist and have completed the Social Communication Autism training through the UNC TEACH Program. I am also currently enrolled in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) AutismTherapist certification. I have extensive experience working with children displaying a variety of developmental delays. My journey has given me the wonderful opportunity to nurture, encourage, and inspire children and their families.
